| Nepalese people have great faith in God. It is said that number of Gods are more than the number of people. In the Himalayan regions tarucho (flag of Lama's pray) fly against the blue sky and the passes and chorten (Buddhist Pagoda) stand everywhere. Hindu and Buddhist are intermingled in a perfect harmony and there are temples and stupas in every 100 meters. Although Hinduism is the official religion, other religion like Islam and Christians are also free to practice their faith. Nepalese take religion as a part of their daily life. |
